Very much needed in these days to demystify the Qunran gift from ancient history. The descriptions and explainations are clear and reveal a people who left us a treasure house of information of Hebrew scripture and history. It has come at a time when thruths of such things are are pointing to the consistient handiwork of Jehovah God throuhout world history.

I stayed up all night the other night to finish listening to the book, and to Google things (associated with the book). From the Googling (which the book inspired), I gave myself a crash coarse in Jewish History!

There were at least two very interesting coincidences associated with the Dead Sea Scrolls that I found very interesting.

It was one of the greatest discoveries in history.

In 1947 a Bedouin shepherd boy uncovered an entire library of ancient scrolls that had remained hidden in a desert cave near the Dead Sea for nearly 2000 years. It later be known as the greatest archeological discovery in history.
